The South African singer-songwriter has released his highly anticipated EP which features the standout single, “Find My Way”.
For the second installment in the “4 Peace Sake” series, Falco exhibits his mastery at blending genres and sounds to create an immersive and deeply personal listening experience.
The EP takes us on a journey of self-discovery as Falco tackles various aspects of the human experience. “HolyWater“, the first single from the EP is a tale of struggles, the need for perseverance and faith. After tackling the topic of identity and self-love, he addresses his desires for sensuality and companionship in the second single titled “NorthStar“. For the third and standout single in the EP, Falco narrates his plight in finding his own place in an ever-changing world, as he tackles fear, rejection, and the optimism that spurs him to knock on every door. “Find My Way” is derived from and inspired by his childhood as he left the Eastern Cape at a young age to pursue his dreams in Johannesburg, a decision that he will never come to regret, as he has come to find the doors of opportunity that he sought out to find. The single urges us to persevere despite the odds as there will always be new opportunities that will come our way, and we will someday find our own place in the world.
To close off the EP, Falco focuses on the need for healing, reorganisation and a change in priorities. “Heal” marks a departure from the circumstances that hindered his life up to this point, and spurs him on to achieve the goals that he sought to achieve after leaving the Eastern Cape.
