Following the momentum of his recent releases and growing buzz within South Africa’s emerging Three Step movement, rising artist UDOTI UDEMEDI will officially introduce his forthcoming EP at an exclusive media and industry listening experience on Wednesday, 8 July 2026 in Sandton.
Hosted by Ziiki Media in partnership with Wayward Entertainment, the invitation-only event will bring together members of the media, music tastemakers, influencers, DJs and industry professionals for an intimate first listen to the project before its official release at midnight.
More than a traditional listening session, the evening has been designed as an immersive experience, allowing guests to journey through the stories, spirituality and cultural influences that shape UDOTI UDEMEDI’s music. Guests can expect live performances, immersive visual production, curated décor inspired by the artist’s heritage, interactive photo moments and a live countdown to the EP’s release across digital streaming platforms.
Born and raised in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, UDOTI UDEMEDI has quickly emerged as one of the exciting new voices within South Africa’s evolving Three Step scene. Blending Afropop, Hip-Hop and deeply rooted Zulu storytelling, his music explores faith, perseverance, identity and purpose while remaining unmistakably South African.
The EP follows the success of singles including Mali Yami and Asambeni, further establishing the artist’s distinctive sound and positioning him as one of the genre’s promising new talents.
