Meet SuperSport’s Disruptors: An Ensemble of Pioneers Who Redefine Sports Broadcasting

To celebrate Women’s Month, SuperSport curated the “Here For Her” campaign to pay homage to the pioneering women in the world of sport. 

To close off Women’s Month in style, PUMA styled SuperSport’s Disruptors in a variety of looks inspired by and ranging from Formula 1, Cricket, Padel, Football and more. 

 

The ‘Here For Her‘ Campaign is of vital importance as it  recognises the pioneering women who have actively redefined sports and broadcasting in Africa while also emphasising the significance of their contributions in amplifying our favourite sports.

 

Hope Mbhele, Zenande Funani, Nqobile Khwezi, Kriya Gangiah, Vanes-Mari Du Toit, and Ashley Pregueiro were selected as SuperSport’s Disruptors, and each of them narrated their unique journey, tribulations, and contributions in the latest SuperSport Unplugged Podcast which can be accessed here.

Meet The Disruptors

1. Hope Mbhele

4. Zenande Funani

From studying Sports Management to providing coverage for some of the world’s largest sporting events, Zenande has cemented herself as a pivotal voice in the world of sports.

5. Vanes-Mari du Toit

From representing South Africa on the world’s largest stages to amplifying voices in sport, Vanes-Mari proves that her love for sports is a lifetime commitment. 

6. Kriya Gangiah

As a multifaceted creative, Kriyah Gangiah proves that limitations are only a state of mind as she strives to dominate various industries and be the driver of meaningful conversations.
